Prince William and Kate's North American Tour Entourage

Prince William and Kate's North American Tour Entourage | Kate Middleton, Prince William

What sort of possé will Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge bring on their much-anticipated North American tour?

The royal couple will have a lot of help, to be sure, but they've also kept their entourage roster for the July trip lean and mean.

When it comes to who'll be along for the ride, William and Kate will be supported by the following:

• Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Private Secretary
The royal newlyweds will be in good hands with Lowther-Pinkerton, 50, a former army officer who was brought to the Palace five years ago by Prince Charles. He's been influential as Princes William and Harry planned their careers in the Armed Forces, and is now private secretary to both William and Kate.

• Chris Kealey, Tour Coordinator
Kealey, an assistant private secretary, will help ensure the couple's packed schedule stays on an even keel.

• James Pryce, Catherine's Hairdresser
Pryce, a 30-something hairdresser at London's Richard Ward Salon, will be on hand to tame Kate's locks. He not only created her classic wedding 'do, but also styled her chestnut mane for the big engagement last November. "She still comes into the salon and sits with everyone else - there is no VIP area," says a Richard Ward spokesperson, who adds, "James has been the Middleton family's hairdresser for seven years now."

• Miguel Head, Press Secretary
Head initially came to attention of the Palace when he worked at the Ministry of Defense. He has plenty of experience traveling with royalty: He headed press relations on William's first overseas tour representing Queen Elizabeth and was alongside Prince Harry in New York during his two polo-playing visits on behalf of his Sentebale charity.

• Sir David Manning
This experienced British diplomat acts as an advisor to the Duke and Duchess and to Prince Harry, coaching them on how to navigate protocol, charity work, official functions and more. Before working for the royal family, Sir David was former Prime Minister Tony Blair's key aide on foreign policy and later acted as Britain's ambassador to America for four years, until 2007.

• Patrick Harrison, The Prince of Wales's Press Secretary
Harrison is an old hand at North American travel, and has toured Canada before with the royals. Accustomed to a slightly larger entourage with Prince Charles and Camilla, he'll be on hand to lend support to the young couple's press team.

Royally Screwed: Kate Middleton Hacked! Duchess's Phone Messages, Bank Account Compromised

Kate Middleton

All we can say is, it's a good thing the Tower of London is no longer in commission.
Just days after the News of the World was forced to apologize to Sienna Miller for hacking into her voice mails, a new round of famous victims have been identified in News Corp.'s ever-growing and increasingly conspiratorial (not to mention, slimy, stupid and, oh yeah, highly illegal) phone-hacking scandal.
Chief among them: everyone's favorite newlywed, Kate Middleton.
Yep. S--t just got real.
Today's royal revelation came as a member of British Parliament urged police to expand their already years-long investigation into the illegal dealings and potential cover-up by Rupert Murdoch's media empire.
In addition to Kate, former prime minister Tony BlairPrince Edward and his wife, the Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, former Metropolitan police commissioner Sir John Stevens, and his successor John Yates, who as it happens, oversaw the phone-hacking investigation for 19 months.

Nice little twist, huh?
As for Middleton, her victimization isn't super recent (though as they've proven, News Corp. clearly isn't above hacking into fully-fledged members of the royal family), but reportedly took place in 2008, while the then-commoner was still just Waity Katie and simply dating Prince William.
In addition to having her voice mails hacked into, her bank account was also said to have been accessed, though it's unclear what, exactly, the company (who hired out a P.I. to dig up all this illegal dirt on behalf of both the NOTW and the Mirror) did with their surveillance. However, police have not explained (or maybe have not yet fully determined) what the tabloid did with the intel they received—other than use it to fill up the pages of their papers—though they have confiscated a motherload of documents (we're talking hundreds of thousands here) from the P.I.
For their part, a News International spokesperson was quick to note that the latest round of victim identification came from an M.P. and not (yet) Scotland Yard, and that they believe the allegations to be "wholly inaccurate." They said that the media empire is "cooperating fully" with the investigation.
In addition to Sienna and Jude Law—until now, the two most famous victims of the scandal, both of whom have launched legal action against News Corp. and P.I. Jonathan Rees—other suspected star targets include Eric ClaptonMick Jagger and George Michael.
Now that's what we call royally screwed.

Kate’s Epsom Derby Outfit: White On!

Kate Middleton Style: Epsom Derby

And she’s off! Just back from her honeymoon, the Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance as a newlywed Saturday, joining her husband andbrother-in-law — plus other members of the royal family — at the Epsom Derby in Surrey, England. While the men wore traditional top hats and tails — and women impressed with another round of formal toppers — Kate stood out in her sleek white ensemble, reminiscent of a suit Princess Diana wore to the Royal Ascot race 25 years ago. For her day out, Kate chose a flowing white above-the-knee dress, topped with a white tweed “Nessie” jacket from Joseph. She accessorized with an L.K. Bennett “Natalie” clutch and taupe patent leather “Sledge” pumps by the brand, and topped her look with a Whiteley hat. While Kate’s look was winning, sadly, the horses she came to cheer for were not; the Queen of England’s horse placed third, while Kate’s mother’s horse came in fourth.
