Jackass fans were devastated over the car accident that killed stuntman Ryan Dunn and a passenger on Monday.
But was Dunn to blame?
The film critic Roger Ebert was quick to pick up on reports that Dunn, 34, had been at a bar before the crash, Tweeting, "Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive."
So far, police in West Goshen Township, Pa., have said only that the vehicle's "speed" may have contributed to the accident but mention nothing about what Ryan had been doing prior to the accident.
According to TMZ, a few hours before his accident, Dunn had three Miller Lites and three "girly shots," at Barnaby's, a bar close to where he died in Pa.
One bar patron tells the site that Dunn was "wasted," while another says he was "not too drunk to drive."
Additionally, while the TV personality and his pals were drinking, the activities were posted in a photo that has since been taken down from Dunn's Twitter page.
But MTV – the network home to Jackass – reports that Dunn "didn't seem intoxicated."
"He was himself," a Barnaby's employee told MTV News. "He seemed like he was having a good time, hanging out with his friends."

All we can say is, it's a good thing the Tower of London is no longer in commission.
Just days after the News of the World was forced to apologize to Sienna Miller for hacking into her voice mails, a new round of famous victims have been identified in News Corp.'s ever-growing and increasingly conspiratorial (not to mention, slimy, stupid and, oh yeah, highly illegal) phone-hacking scandal.
Chief among them: everyone's favorite newlywed, Kate Middleton.
Yep. S--t just got real.
Today's royal revelation came as a member of British Parliament urged police to expand their already years-long investigation into the illegal dealings and potential cover-up by Rupert Murdoch's media empire.
In addition to Kate, former prime minister Tony Blair, Prince Edward and his wife, the Countess of Wessex, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, former Metropolitan police commissioner Sir John Stevens, and his successor John Yates, who as it happens, oversaw the phone-hacking investigation for 19 months.
Nice little twist, huh?
As for Middleton, her victimization isn't super recent (though as they've proven, News Corp. clearly isn't above hacking into fully-fledged members of the royal family), but reportedly took place in 2008, while the then-commoner was still just Waity Katie and simply dating Prince William.
In addition to having her voice mails hacked into, her bank account was also said to have been accessed, though it's unclear what, exactly, the company (who hired out a P.I. to dig up all this illegal dirt on behalf of both the NOTW and the Mirror) did with their surveillance. However, police have not explained (or maybe have not yet fully determined) what the tabloid did with the intel they received—other than use it to fill up the pages of their papers—though they have confiscated a motherload of documents (we're talking hundreds of thousands here) from the P.I.
For their part, a News International spokesperson was quick to note that the latest round of victim identification came from an M.P. and not (yet) Scotland Yard, and that they believe the allegations to be "wholly inaccurate." They said that the media empire is "cooperating fully" with the investigation.
In addition to Sienna and Jude Law—until now, the two most famous victims of the scandal, both of whom have launched legal action against News Corp. and P.I. Jonathan Rees—other suspected star targets include Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger and George Michael.
Now that's what we call royally screwed.

Reality star Khloé Kardashian had a reality check Tuesday morning when she found out she may have exposed a little too much skin while promoting the new season of the family series Keeping Up with the Kardashianson FOX's morning show Fox & Friends.
She exposed herself about four minutes into the interview, and the supposed exposure went unnoticed by her sister Kourtney, the show's hosts and herself, as the Khloé & Lamar star continued talking for about two minutes more.
But the attention didn't bring her down. "I had a nip slip and I loved it!" ' Kardashian, 26, who was wearing a black top with sheer fabric on the sides and sleeves,Tweeted. "My mom just called me saying my nip slip is 'all over the internet!'"
She continued, "Ha! Is it weird that I love it?"
Then, on her website, Kardashian wrote that her stylist advised her to wear a bra with the sheer top, "but being the naughty girl that I am I disobeyed and went bra-less."
And though she maintains that she's not ashamed of the slip ("personally [I] love when women show their nipples – perhaps I was a member of a nudist colony in my last life," she wrote), the reality star also apologized.
"On a more serious note though, to those who I offended, I am very sorry," she said. "It truly was an accident."

Ja Rule won't be livin' it up after today.
Six months after pleading guilty to felony attempted criminal possession of a weapon, the rapper was sentenced to two years in prison in a New York City courtroom today and was subsequently hauled off in handcuffs.
"See y'all later," he told his supporters in the room, including wife Aisha, his mother and his mother-in-law. "Love you!" they called out to him.

"Love you, too," Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, replied.
The "Always on Time" artist was booked into custody at a city jail while he awaits word on his final lockup destination.
Ja Rule and Lil Wayne were busted on the same night back in July 2007 on gun charges after police found a semiautomatic handgun in Ja Rule's sports car.
The rapper also pleaded guilty in March to tax evasion for owing more than $3 million in New Jersey back taxes. He is also facing prison time in that case and could get an additional three years behind bars for his money troubles.
Sentencing was scheduled for this Monday, but his attorney says that will likely postponed until later this summer.
Even with prison on the horizon, Ja Rule has been busy putting the finishing touches on his first new album in years, Pain Is Love 2. It was originally due out yesterday, but producer 7 Aurelius told Mpire Online that they postponed its release to "benefit the quality of the music and overall handling of the album's promotion and marketing whilst Ja is incarcerated."

Weddings mean invitations, seating charts, cake tastings...and if you're Kim Kardashian, a prenup.
A source confirms to E! News that the reality star is finalizing a prenuptial agreement with fiancé Kris Humphries that would protect his and her assets in the event of a divorce.
(But we're rooting they stay together forever.)
Anyway, here are the deets—
"It's a standard prenup," says a source close to the couple. "They just want something that makes sense for both of them."
The agreement is in the hands of lawyers at this stage and is "very straightforward," says the source.
With Kim's net worth reportedly in the $35 million range, and Kris' about $8 million, there is a lot of money at stake.
"When it comes to money, Kim just thinks it's always smart to have a contract and she has always looked at things that way," says the source. "It is the responsible thing to do."
Ah, responsibility. Good girl, Kim!

After meeting in March, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald embarked upon a whirlwind romance – and now they've taken the next step.
The Breaking Dawnstar, 23, and herAmerican Idol alum beau, 26, are engaged, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
Posing together at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, the couple showed off a sparkler on Reed's left ring finger as she told E!, "He's the one."
And to those who are concerned that the pair may be moving too fast, the actress – who is reportedly house hunting with McDonald – has an answer.
"I love him and I don't care," Reed told PEOPLE in May.
"I've never met anyone like him. I've never met anyone who has such a good solid heart and comes from such a good solid family and is just a genuine person. We have the exact same sense of humor. I've never laughed so much with anyone as I do with him."
